All Things Origami Art Class
Time: 4 pm – 5:30 am
Instructor: Ms. Pink
Dates: March 11 – May 6 (no class April 8, Spring Break); 8 weeks
Grades: 3 -5
Description: Origami is the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. Origami has shown to help develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and mental concentration. Use of the hands directly stimulates areas of the brain and is therapeutic. In this 8 week course, we will start with some easier projects and build our way up to some more complex designs even incorporating acrylic painting and collage making into our art work. Cost includes all materials.
COVID Policy: We will be hosting each class with safety precautions in place due to COVID-19. Classes are limited to 8 students with social distancing, sanitizing all tools, materials and classroom before and after each class. Students are required to sanitize hands prior to entering class and face masks are mandatory at this time. All pickups and drop-off are handled in the back gravel lot facing Sandy Springs Circle, via carpool. We will conduct temperature checks and sanitize hands prior to entering the studio.
Class Cancellation Policy:If cancellation is less than two weeks prior to first class, $50 plus credit card fees will be withheld from refunds. After the first class, no fees are refundable. No refunds or credit will be given for missed classes, events or workshops. We reserve the right to cancel classes if the minimum enrollment is not reached; full tuition will be refunded.
