La Dee Da offers a variety of camps throughout the year for children ages 3 and up! All preschool age MUST be potty trained to attend our day camps.

School Break Camps

At La Dee Da we offer a unique creative program that is like no other in town! Our curriculum is well researched and thought out, we use quality art supplies, hire qualified staff and offer smaller group settings. With a combination of arts & crafts, in-house field trips, movement, music, books and plenty of play time, there is something for everyone! Students work on multiple projects during the week, some of which are progressive in nature. For this reason, we do not offer single day camps over the summer period. Our curriculum has been designed to be an adjunct filler to traditional day camps that you might be planning to send your child to this summer. Sign up for one or multiple weeks!

Tuition cost is the same for all weeks except this year over July 3 & 4 there will be no camp and tuition has been prorated. There is a one time  $35 summer registration fee per household. This includes a camp t-shirt for all campers, all art supplies, Wednesday popsicle day, and Friday cheese pizza! Afternoon snack is also included for full-day campers.

Ages:

Ages 4 - 10 (must be potty trained)
Students are divided into 3 different groups based on age and development.
Summer Speciality Workshops are for children ages 10 - 13 and run Monday - Thursday on select weeks.

Our camp groups are run simultaneously but in separate groups/classrooms with dedicated instructors. Some camps and programs are taught in a Montessori-style with broader age-range groups, learning and sharing together creatively. Occasional age exceptions are made upon Parent Request. [i.e. placing siblings/friends together, or a slightly younger child in an older group] PLEASE CALL FIRST! (We strive to provide the best possible educational, developmental and enjoyable experience for all the children in our programs.

Attendance & Cancellation

Although we are very flexible, we expect enrolled students to attend camp/classes on the day they register. We staff up and plan for projects based on enrolled students. We do not offer make-up days for absences. We do not refund tuition for absences. No show, no call, no communication equals no refunds or credits.  We staff up and base our projects on enrollment. Due to current COVID precautions, our capacity has changed as well. Your enrollment confirms a spot for your child which means we might not have been able to take another camper. If any special circumstances need to be addressed with the director. Credit will only be issued towards  arts and crafts kits on the go! We will need 3-5 days to fulfill any requests during our prime camp season. Please visit our SHOP section to take advantage of all that we have to offer. COVID 19 UPDATE:

We are an indoor camp. Although we are no longer required to contact trace within the camp group or quarantine the camp, in the case of COVID within a household, we ask you to kindly inform the studio and your camper MUST wear a mask when attending our program. Anyone who tests positive or has symptoms is required to follow the CDC recommendations for isolation and to stay home. Fully vaccinated staff or campers with no COVID-like symptoms do not need to quarantine or be tested following an exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19. They should get tested 3-5 days after exposure and wear a mask until they receive a negative test result. If they are experiencing symptoms, they should be clinically evaluated for COVID-19 and tested for COVID-19, if indicated. Campers with runny nose, coughing and excessive sneezing will not be allowed into the studio without a negative COVID test.

In case of illness or missed camp due to COVID, you MUST provide PCR results (not a home test) and submit in writing. A 50% credit less the registration fee will be issued and applied to account. Credit is good till Spring of 2024 (does NOT apply to summer 2024).

Camp will be available beginning the Week of May 30th. You are welcome to register below.

Cancelation for Summer 2023: We are a small family owned community art studio. These last few years have been extremely challenging and we have done our very best to pivot our business while providing quality service and care for our students. We appreciate the support our community has shown us as we navigated unprecedented times. We are unable to provide any refunds for canceled camps after our normal cancellation policy listed below. Please make sure you read carefully and understand that there are NO FULL REFUNDS being issued after April 1, 2023. However, we do acknowledge individual situations and the uncertainty of our times. This needs to be determined on a case by case basis and a partial or full credit may be issued towards Art Kits To Go at the discretion of studio director after April 1, 2023. Please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a credit issue and to redeem on any programming.

Campers MUST BE 5 years old on the first day they attend our full-day program. Each week is carefully designed to offer a new creative curriculum with specialty highlights and other fun activities. Different offerings per week make it fun to enroll for multiple camps through the summer without getting bored! Our camps are appropriate for children age 4 and up. However, there are a few camps geared especially for our older campers Ages 6+.
    • Camp Groups: Campers are broken into 3 different groups based on age and or development.
    • Camp Locations:
      • Camps run for the entire summer (11 weeks) at our Sandy Springs Studio location. Certain camps are being offered twice over the summer, choose whichever options works best for your schedule.
    • Space is Limited: We only take 45 campers per week.
    • Registration Fee: There is a one-time $35 registration fee for the entire summer/household.
