Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing in Clay Lab! This exciting hand-building clay class is perfect for young artists who love to sculpt, build, and bring their ideas to life. We will be working with polymer clay as well as air dry clay to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

Each week, students will explore a variety of hand-building techniques—including pinching, coiling, slab building, carving, and adding texture—to create one-of-a-kind functional and decorative clay pieces. From whimsical creatures and personalized keepsakes to bowls, mugs, and imaginative sculptures, every project is designed to encourage creativity while teaching real ceramic techniques.

Along the way, artists will strengthen problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, patience, and confidence as they transform a simple lump of clay into something truly extraordinary.
