Open Studio

Designed for families and young children, our Open Studio offers a relaxed, creative space outside of structured class times. Kids can explore a wide range of inspiring materials—from glitter and pom poms to sequins and more—and choose from our rotating craft menu or seasonal projects. Come make something special for yourself or a loved one!

Our staff provides gentle support, but no formal instruction, encouraging children to experiment and create freely.

Hours:
• Sundays: 2–5 pm (unless a specialty event is scheduled)
• Weekdays: Tuesday–Friday during non-class times (reservation required)
• Closed Mondays

Pricing:
$18 per child includes access to all materials; projects range from $5–$35 (ceramics, canvas, jewelry, sensory play, stuff & fluff, seasonal crafts, and more).

Private Play Dates:
Call a few days in advance to reserve a private classroom (based on availability). Bring a snack and enjoy our fully fenced outdoor play area with slide and play structures.

Messy Toddler Tuesdays; September 15 – October 27 (Ages 18 months – 4 yrs)(with caregiver) 10:15 am – 11:00 am (No class 9/22 Camp)

Enjoy facilitated fun and crafts, designed especially for toddlers! Join us every Tuesday this Fall at La Dee Da Studio for our weekly Messy Toddler Tuesday Sensory Art Class. Each session includes a story time, our seasonal themed sensory bins (a class favorite) and a take-home art project in our beautiful studio space. We’ll be working on fine & gross motor skills, manipulatives, cutting and pasting, color recognition, and creative play. Caregivers are required to be present with each student during the class. Join us for the full 6 weeks or do a drop-in class.

Little Makers Wednesdays; September 16 – October 28 (Ages 18 months – 4 yrs)(with caregiver) 9:45 am – 10:30 am (No class 9/23 Camp) $168/6 week session

Children explore materials and tools at their own pace through open-ended art and fine motor invitations designed to build early skills and confidence. A hands-on studio experience designed for toddlers to explore materials, tools, and ideas at their own pace.

Each week, little ones rotate through open-ended art + fine motor invitations—pouring, sticking, building, threading, and discovering through doing. This is the best messy playdate you’ll ever have, and here’s the best part: clean up is on us. Come ready to share this experience with your toddler, meet new families and have some fun!

Art Explorers Jr.; Tuesdays; September 15 – October 27 (Ages 5 – 8 yrs) (drop-off class) 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm (No class 9/22 Camp) $210/6 week session

Grab your imagination and get ready for an artistic adventure! Every week, our young Art Explorers will dive into exciting new projects using paint, clay, collage, printmaking, sculpture, and all kinds of colorful mixed-media materials.

This isn’t your typical art class—we love experimenting, making creative messes, thinking outside the box, and discovering new ways to create. Along the way, children build confidence, strengthen fine motor skills, practice problem-solving, and learn that there are no limits to their imagination.

Whether your child loves painting rainbows, building sculptures, or simply creating something uniquely their own, Art Explorers is the perfect place to explore, imagine, and make new friends in a fun, encouraging studio environment.

Clay Lab Handbuilding with Clay; September 16 – October 28 (Ages 8 – 12 yrs) (drop-off class) 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm (No class 9/223 Camp) $225/6 week session

Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing in Clay Lab! This exciting hand-building clay class is perfect for young artists who love to sculpt, build, and bring their ideas to life. We will be working with polymer clay as well as air dry clay to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

Each week, students will explore a variety of hand-building techniques—including pinching, coiling, slab building, carving, and adding texture—to create one-of-a-kind functional and decorative clay pieces. From whimsical creatures and personalized keepsakes to bowls, mugs, and imaginative sculptures, every project is designed to encourage creativity while teaching real ceramic techniques.

Along the way, artists will strengthen problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, patience, and confidence as they transform a simple lump of clay into something truly extraordinary.
