Hand building with Clay
- September 21 - September 21
- 8- 11 years
- 12:00 am - 4:00 pm
Class Description
Hand building is a way to work with clay without using the pottery wheel – instead we will use techniques with coils, slabs or pinching the clay. In this dynamic 6-week session, students will get to use tools like rolling pins and slab rollers to start the process, using more clay to embellish and decorate our work. Pieces will not be fired, but spray glazed instead. Cost includes all materials. Art class will end in a student showcase of all work on display for friends and family.
Learning Objectives:

Attire: We do often get messy and colorful and materials can stain. Please dress for messiness.
