Our curriculum is well researched and thought out, we use quality art supplies, hire qualified staff and offer smaller group settings. With a combination of arts & crafts, in-house field trips, movement, music, books and plenty of play time, there something for everyone! Students work on multiple projects during the week, some of which are progressive in nature. For this reason, we encourage campers to attend a full week of camp so that they can get the most out of our program. Our curriculum has been designed to be an adjunct filler to traditional day camps that you might be planning to send your child to this summer. Sign up for one or multiple weeks!
Tuition cost is the same for all weeks. There is one time $35 summer registration fee per household. This includes a camp
one “camp swag” item for each camper, all art supplies, Popsicle Wednesdays and Friday pizza.

Students are divided into 3 different groups based on age and development.
Afternoon Speciality Workshops are for children ages 9 – 12.
Groups:
We have 3 age groups for our camps with limited spots available. We try to arrange age ranges that best support a curriculum and medium that is being taught. Our camp groups are run simultaneously but in separate groups/classrooms with dedicated instructors. Some camps and programs are taught in a Montessori-style with broader age-range groups, learning and sharing together creatively. Occasional age exceptions are made upon Parent Request. [i.e. placing siblings/friends together, or a slightly younger child in older group] PLEASE CALL FIRST! (We strive to provide the best possible educational, developmental and enjoyable experience for all the children in our programs.

Single Half Day Camps: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm ($70)
Single Full Day Camps: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm ($95)

2022 Summer Camp Tuition:
- Half Day Program: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm Cost $290 week/Camper (ALL CAMPS ARE SAME PRICE)
- Full Day Program: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm Cost $415 week/Camper
- Pre care: 8:30 am- 9:00 am Cost $10/daily or $50/weekly
- Post Care: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Cost $10/daily or $50/weekly
- There is a one time $35 summer registration fee/household.
- For early morning care and extended care: You must register PRIOR to the camp program in order to guarantee a slot. Early morning care and extended care cannot be guaranteed if you drop-in the day of camp. Slots may be full, as we must maintain our student-to-child ratio.

What To Bring:
Parents must provide a labeled non-perishable lunch, morning snack and water bottle (please remember La Dee Da is a peanut & nut free facility to ensure the safety of all our children). Afternoon snacks will be provided. Students should wear play clothes that may get dirty and stained along with closed toed shoes. Our goal is for children to have fun and feel free, to be creative, messy and worry-free. Please apply sun screen and bug spray daily. Mask policy will be determined closer to Summer.
Is this your first time at La Dee Da?
Please fill out an enrollment/registration form for each child visiting the studio. The registration form covers emergency contact information, a medical release, and a photo release. You only need to fill it out one time each calendar year and we will keep it on file.
Attendance & Cancellation
Although we are very flexible, we expect enrolled students to attend camp/classes on the day they register. We staff up and plan for projects based on enrolled students. We do not offer make-up days for absences. We do not refund tuition for absences. No show, no call, no communication equals no refunds or credits. We staff up and base our projects on enrollment. Due to current COVID precautions, our capacity has changed as well. Your enrollment confirms a spot for your child which means we might not have been able to take another camper. If any special circumstances need to be addressed with the director. Credit will only be issued towards arts and crafts kits on the go! We will need 3-5 days to fulfill any requests during our prime camp season. Please visit our SHOP section to take advantage of all that we have to offer. We greatly appreciate your business and we will work through reasonable adjustments if possible.

Week 1: May 24 – 28: Rip, Snip, Tear and Create (Preschoolers; Ages 3 – 6)
In this week-long process based art camp, children will be introduced to the adventures in collage making! We will work with colored tissue paper, newspaper, fabric and buttons, painted and torn paper and more to create unique assemblages that provide opportunities for open ended creativity! Using Eric Carle as inspiration, we will hone in on some essential fine motor skills like cutting and pasting. We will use natural materials to stamp and create patterns. Artists will go home with a portfolio of beautiful process based art that is uniquely their own.
Week 2: June 1 – 4*: Splish Splash, We’re Having a Blast (Suggested Age 3 -8) (CAMP FULL)
Campers are invited as we dive into the beautiful waters to cool off for the summer with our ocean and beach themed camp week. We’ll explore ocean themed sensory bins, create ooey gooey slime, leave our imprints on the sand, create beautiful necklaces from shells we collect on the beach, catch a mermaid or two and swim in the deepest ocean with dolphins and large jellyfish! This week our art will be cool and colorful depicting all the encounters from our deep sea treasure dive. Friday will be dress up day as we’re entertained by a real live mermaid!
Week 3A: June 7 – 11: J’adore Paris (Session 1) (Suggested Age 3 – 8) (CAMP FULL)
Nothing’s ever boring or blah, in the land of Ooh-La-La! Calling all Fancy Nancy lovers for a bit of sparkle and glitter and all things Paris! With tons of Parisian inspired arts and crafts, a demo with a pastry chef and even a lesson in etiquette and manners, this camp is sure to add some sparkle to your week. We’ll zip around on a vespa with Nancy as she shows us museums and other hot spots around her favorite Par-ee! So grab your beret and your bestie! Campers are invited to dress in tres magnifique and join us for a soiree on Friday!
Week 3B: June 7 – 11: Boho Chic Girl (The Ultimate Preteen Crafting Camp) (Ages 9+) (CAMP FULL)
This week is all about being a girl, celebrating the free spirit inside each of us, and DIY arts and crafts galore! Your tween will be guided through a variety of on trend craft projects and accessories she’ll love to show off! From tie dye tassel socks, giant dream catcher hangings, painted boards, decoupage jewelry trays to “no-sew” T-shirt bags…we’ll go through a colorful journey celebrating the fun, boho chic girl in all of us! So grab your kimono and your cutoffs, along with your bestie and let’s craft away!
Week 4: June 14 – 18: American Girl Doll Pony Camp (Session 1) (Suggested Age 4 – 9) (CAMP FULL)
A girl, her love for her dolly and ponies!!! What could be better than a summer camp adventure as we craft and create during this brand new equestrian themed camp week! Join us as we get creative bringing all the fun and creativity you’re accustomed to at La Dee Da! Each day we will explore a different art medium, and create a beautiful piece of quality arts and crafts that will be professionally finished and ready to be show worthy! We’ll design our own “my doll and me” t-shirts, adopt a pony to take home, create lots of crafts and more! Friday will end with a real life pony ride of course! Campers are welcome to bring their dolls to camp. Any 18” doll will be OK.
Week 5: June 21 – 25: Clay Lab for Kids (Suggested Age 4 – 10) (CAMP FULL)
Squishy, colorful, and infinitely shapeable, clay is one of the most versatile andtherapeuticart materials for kids. In this fun and creative camp week, childrenwill build on sensory development, motor skills, self esteem, and self expression, problem solving skills, discipline, and pride. We will be working with no-kiln air dry clay, polymer clay (sculpey) and salt dough to create many pieces including our own sushi, hamburger, coil and pinch pots, jewelry, succulents, animals and more!
Week 6: June 28 – July 2: Art of Nature (Suggested Age 3 – 8) (CAMP FULL)
This week we’re going to embrace the outdoors and everything nature has to offer! Don’t forget to bring your best campfire stories and songs! We will be exploring our beautiful and vast national parks and create nature based art. Between out of the box techniques of painting with sticks, creating nature inspired leaf and floral mandalas, printing with leaves, creating pinecone critters, our hands are sure to get dirty! We will learn about camping outdoors and producing artwork as if they were sleeping under the stars! We will have fun activities that will create an atmosphere of real life camping while catching fireflies!
Week 7A: July 5 – 9: STEAM Challenge & Tinker Lab (Suggested Age 4 – 10)(CAMP FULL!)
Science is Real!!! Calling all curious minds to come tinker and create with us during our weeklong Summer STEAM Club. This specialty camp aims to SPARK excitement with SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART & MORE in a setting that invites campers to explore, create, question, and experiment with fascinating facts, projects and activities. Through discovery based learning, students will carry out experiments, create kaleidoscopes, experiment with sunprints, learn about sounds, create tin can telephones, engage in lego robotics, build and program artbots, create gigantic bubbles, artistic masterpieces, and see how art and science work together in the real world.
Week 7B: July 5 – 9: Dollhouse Designers (Suggested Age 4 – 10)
(CAMP FULL!)
Dollhouses are probably one of the most essential, open ended, imaginative toys any child could play with. What if your child could build, design, and play with their very own custom dollhouse? This summer at La Dee Da, they can! Using problem solving skills, imagination and creativity, each camper will be guided to think like an architect, builder, designer, and artist! Campers will receive a beautiful large wooden dollhouse at the beginning of the week. We will then spend each day painting, decorating, printing wallpaper, weaving carpets, learning to create tassels and pompoms, design furniture, and more!

Week 8: July 12 – 16: Wizarding and Magic Camp (Suggested Age 6 – 10) (CAMP FULL)
Prepare for a magical adventure you will never forget as campers are guided on a spellbinding journey! Join us as we explore the magical world. Receive your school uniform, get sorted, and begin your magical education. Make your own magic wand, duel with your fellow wizards, study magical subjects, play wizard games, care for live creatures, compete for the Wizarding Cup and more! This immersive week-long camp will allow children to spend their summer attending a magical school and learning the mystical arts.
Week 9A: July 19 – 23: Minecraft and Woodworking Camp (Suggested Age 5 and up) (CAMP FULL)
Take a break with some creative screen free time while engaging in your favorite video game themed camp! Join us at La Dee Da this summer as we design our own biome, battle with camo marshmallow shooters, troubleshoot and create our own marble maze and engage in lego robotic builds. We’ll even get to design our own creeper t-shirts, paint a diamond sword and polish our fine motor skills by using a hammer and nails to build bookends for our room! The fun continues in the afternoon as campers enjoy making pixel keychains and playing outdoor games. Your child will be so engaged the entire week they will not miss screen time. So grab a buddy and let’s have a creeping great time!
Week 9B: July 19 – 23: Where Unicorns, Rainbows and Fairies Are Born (Suggested Age 3 – 9) (CAMP FULL)
Join us at La Dee Da for a sparkling week of arts & crafts fun from far away lands. A truly spectacular week where magical unicorns, hidden forests, rainbows, fairies and globs of sparkle make childhood fantasies become reality! This camp is all about exploring the world of imagination and creating unique accessories and wearable art that show off your inner magic. Older campers will be introduced to hand sewing and nail art. We’ll make tons of fun art for our rooms, tiny fairy doors in shadow boxes, headbands and jewelry, along with unicorn poop slime!
Week 10A: July 26 – 30: Tackling Textiles Fiber Arts (Min Age 10)(CAMP FULL)
Our big kid favorite camp is back for yet another summer with a brand new curriculum! In this week-long camp,children will get a chance to dip their hands into the world of fiber arts and what it has to offer.Fiber Arts is just that…art created with fibers of all kinds. We will explore many fiber techniques like creating pom pom and tassel jewelry, beginning embroidery, and learning to hand sew stuffies. We will also investigate textile techniques such as batik, marbling on beautiful silk scarves, block printing to create our own unique prints and shibori tie dyed pillows.
Week 10B: July 26 – 30: American Girl Doll Pony Camp (Session 2) (CAMP FULL)

Does your child have a passion for animals? This week we will be taking a closer look at some of the most fascinating creatures that live amongst us. We’ll be working with pottery, acrylic canvas painting, board art with mosaics, and other fun mixed media while we learn about the food chain and creating beautiful art!We will learn techniques for drawing, painting and making animals out of clay. We will end the week with our favorite in-studio reptile show case!

Week 12: Aug 9 – 13: Adventure You Say? Alpaca My Bags! (Suggested Age 3 – 9)
While we might not have collected any new stamps on our passport lately, there’s nothing to say we can’t experience different cultures through art, books, music and some creativity! Our young travelers are invited to join us for the week as we hop on the double decker and whizz past the busy streets of London riding along the Thames and the Royal Horseguards while enjoying a tea at Trafalgar Square! Then we’ll go on a caravan through the vast African Sahara desert, as we stargaze and spot wildlife. Our adventures continue to the colorful and beautiful country of India as we learn about it’s rich traditions and culture.
Week 13: Aug 16 – 20: Dot to Dot (Preschoolers; Ages 3 – 6)
In this fun and colorful camp week, young artists will be guided through an explosion of color as we create lots of fun art made simply by using dots. Taking inspiration from Peter Reylond’s book The Dot and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, campers will hop through a creative journey unlike any other. Let’s make a mark and see where it takes you! Week 1: May 23 – 27: Down on the Farm (Ages 3+ MUST be potty trained)
Let’s start the summer with the cutest camp of the season geared especially towards our toddlers and rising kindergartners. In this week-long craft camp, we will be focusing on life around the farm. Each day will feature different animals in our arts & craft projects. We will create with paint, work with clay, mixed media, collage, drawing and more. Our top favorite camp of each summer! Squishy, colorful, and infinitely shapeable, clay is one of the most versatile and therapeuticart materials for kids. In this fun and creative camp week, children will build on sensory development, motor skills, self esteem, and self expression, problem solving skills, discipline, and pride. We will be working with no-kiln air dry clay, polymer clay (sculpey) and salt dough to create many unique clay pieces.
Week 6: June 27 – July 1: Born to Rock! (Ages 4+)

Does your camper love arts & crafts, music and fashion? Are they constantly jamming to the latest pop hits on the radio? Imagine crafting your very own miniature rock stage, creating wearable art and spending the week alongside other fun loving creative friends giggling and laughing all the way. We will design band T-shirts, special backstage VIP passes, even our own microphones! So move on over Swifty, we’re jamming our way to the end as we finish off the week with an epic not to be missed Karaoke Party!
Week 7A: July 5 – 8: Mario Mashup! (Ages 5+)

Calling all gamers to put their devices down for the week and join us at La Dee Da as we draw, paint, and create all things Super Mario. Throughout the week we will have adventures as we travel through different worlds from Mushroom Kingdom and beyond, encountering Piranha Plants, Goombas, Chain Chompers, creating Boo ghost lamps and the one and only Bowser! Campers will go on a Yoshi egg hunt, compete in a Mario coin jump, make sky Jello and end the week with a fun cake walk!

This camp is intended for our older campers. Campers will spend the week exploring a variety of fiber art techniques. These will include machine and hand sewing, embroidery, creating our own fabrics to design a complete ensemble which will include a hand dyed or block printed circle skirt and screen printed t-shirt along with handmade jewelry. The week will end in a fashion showcase as campers show off their creations. Campers will gain improved dexterity from the focus and calm achieved by working with textiles. Ages 10+

Prepare to immerse yourself in a week-long Star Wars inspired STEAM camp, that is simply out-of-this-world! We’ll spend the week crafting Baby Yoda out of paper mache, designing our own Death Star, creating Space Slime and lots more themed arts & crafts! We’ll end the week with a dress up party as we hone our force skills with lightsaber training. So are you ready to start the adventure of a lifetime and join us in this Cosmic Camp?
Week 9B: July 18 – 22: Tween No Drama Boho Llama (Ages 8+)

This tween ultra cool and colorful bohemian inspired Llama camp will set your campers in a crafting frenzy! We will spend our time learning how to make fuzzy yarn pom poms, vibrant tassels, clay cactus pots, a mini fabric tent and a fun Llama ofcourse! We will build our very own llama scene inside a magical greenhouse complete with fairy lights. We will try our hand at macrame and will even learn to hand-sew their own Llama stuffie.
Week 10A: July 25 – 29: Theme Park Adventures (Ages 7+) (CAMP FULL)
Our best STEAM Camp to date! This week we get to use our engineering, math and art skills and become imagineers as we get to design our very own mini theme park! We’ll get to construct our own mini roller coasters, merry go round and other rides that spin, sway, loop, pull, bounce, and twirl! Campers will get to hone in their creativity and critical thinking skills as they get to name their park, create a theme, decide prices and budget and plan out concessions. We’ll end the week with a showcase.

Aloha campers! You’re invited to a summer luau! Get your grass skirts ready for a week of sun, fun, and all things tropical! We will spend the week immersed in shells, critters, sand, making summer memories. Campers will design their own tiki masks, play island games, and even create their own luau desserts. We will even get to build our very own erupting volcanoes! Friday will end in island games, dress up day and a Moana visit.

June 13 – 17: Paint Pour & Alcohol Inks Workshop (Ages 10+)
Join us this summer with the hottest trend for making abstract art. In this fun, colorful workshop, artists will learn how to create eye-catching color combinations and learn various techniques such as the dirty pour and flip cup along with ways of manipulating paint with a hair dryer or string. We will also learn to manipulate the fun and exciting medium of alcohol ink to create unique abstract designs on non-porous surfaces, such as ceramic tiles.
June 20 – 24: Shibori tie-dye + Marbling on Silk Workshop (Age 10+)
Get ready to get blue!
In this hands-on workshop you will learn the basics of shibori-inspired folding and binding techniques to create beautiful patterns on fabric with indigo dye. We’ll discuss setting up the vat and spend time preparing our materials for dyeing. By the end of workshop, we will finish the dye process and you will be amazed as the stunning one-of-a-kind patterns are unfolded and revealed! We will also learn how to create beautiful and interesting patterns by marbling our own silk scarf.
July 11 – 15: Resin + Painted Board (Ages 10+)
Resin is an increasingly popular medium for crafting and after mixing and pouring results in a hard high-gloss surface. The range of projects you can do with resin, such as preserving and protecting photos and artwork or casting objects for jewelry, are really endless!
In this hands-on workshop campers will llearn useful tips and tricks for working with resin and creating fun items using silicone molds. While our resin is curing, we will also work on a custom trendy wood sign project that we will sand, stain and paint.
July 18 – 22: Jewelry Making (Ages 10+)
Get ready to learn to bead, clasp, string, roll out polymer clay as we immerse ourselves in this fun and trendy summer workshop. Through demonstrations and hands-on instruction, you will learn a variety of techniques to make designs and intricate shapes. Use your imagination and creativity to work with clay and create unique jewelry designs.

COVID 19 UPDATE:
Although we are no longer required to contact trace within the camp group or quarantine the camp, in the case of COVID within a household, the CDC requires ALL family members to quarantine even if they are testing negative. Anyone who tests positive or has symptoms is required to follow the CDC recommendations for isolation and to stay home. Family members who come in close contact within the same household need to quarantine for 5 days, get re-tested, and wear a well fitting mask for 10 days. La Dee Da requires a negative PCR result in order to be readmitted to camp. This includes vaccinated children. In case of illness or missed camp due to COVID, you MUST provide PCR results (not a home test) and submit in writing. A partial credit less the registration fee will be issued and applied to account. Credit is good till Spring of 2023 (does NOT apply to summer 2023). Camp will be available beginning the Week of May 23rd (with Monday, May 30th being closed for memorial day). You are welcome to register below.
Cancelation for Summer 2022: We are a small family owned community art studio. These past 2 years have been extremely challenging and we have done our very best to pivot our business. We appreciate the support our community has shown us as we navigated unprecedented times. We are unable to provide any refunds for cancelled camps after our normal cancellation policy listed below. Please make sure you read carefully and understand that there are no full refunds being issued after April 1, 2022. However, we do acknowledge individual situations and the uncertainity of our times. This needs to be determined on a case by case basis and a partial or full credit may be issued towards Art Kits To Go at the discretion of studio director after April 1, 2022. Please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a credit issue and to redeem on any programming.
Summer 2022 Registration Policies
A one time $35 summer registration fee per household is required at signup. All prices include Wednesday popsicles, Friday weekly pizza, camp swag and all quality art supplies.
The entire balance of camp fees is due no later than April 30, 2022 to secure discount pricing. Registrations occurring after April 30th must be paid in full at time of purchase.
Changing Weeks
Registration fee allows for a one-time date change prior to April 30, 2022. Changes after this date will incur a $25 per child/week fee. All changes are based on camp availability and must be approved by the camp director. We request that families notify us of date changes as soon as possible as space is limited and sessions fill up quickly.
Refund & Cancellation Policy:
La Dee Da will honor cancellation deposit refund requests as follows:
- In accepting your camp registration, La Dee Da reserves a place for your child and hires staff according to registrations and deposits paid. Therefore, no refunds or credits will be given after April 30, 2022.
- Any cancellation requests made before April 1, 2022 will receive a full refund minus a $35 cancellation fee. All cancellation requests MUST be made in writing. Cancellation requests made between April 1, 2022 and April 30, 2022 will receive a 50% refund, minus $35 registration fees. La Dee Da is unable to provide refunds or credits after April 30, 2022 due to limited enrollment and expenses incurred. We understand situations arise and plans can change! La Dee Da will allow you to give your spot (less registration fee) to a friend or family member but will be unable to assist in finding replacement campers for your child’s spot. Please provide notifications of enrollment changes including the name and age of the new camper via email to [email protected]. We do not provide refunds for absences, late arrivals, or early withdrawals of campers.
- No deposits/tuition will be refunded on or after April 30th, 2022, but is available to be transferred based on availability without additional charges.
- If illness causes your child to miss 3 or more consecutive days in one week of camp, you can submit a doctor’s note as proof of illness and therefore be eligible to receive a partial credit on your account for that specific week (minus registration fees and deposits).
- The refund & cancellation policy also applies towards fees paid for early and post camp care.
- Campers under the age of 5 are not eligible for our full day camp program.
Behavior Guidelines:
Please read our behavior policy with your camper before camp.
We expect campers to act respectfully at all times when they are on our property or participating in our programs. Campers are to behave in a mature, responsible way and respect the rights and dignity of others and all La Dee Da property.
Actions will reflect the Four Core Values:
- Campers take Responsibility for their actions.
- Campers Respect themselves, each other, camp equipment and the environment.
- Honesty will be the basis for all relationships and interactions.
- Campers will be Caring in their relationships with others.
Campers should talk to a counselor or any camp staff member if they are uncomfortable with any experiences or need assistance while at camp.
Discipline Procedures:
When a camper does not follow the behavior guidelines, we will take the following action steps as behavior problems progress.
- Staff will redirect the camper to more appropriate behavior.
- If inappropriate behavior continues, the camper will be reminded of behavior guidelines and camp rules, and the camper will be asked to decide on action steps to correct his/her behavior.
- If a child’s behavior still does not meet expectations and is affecting the experience of other campers, he/she will be referred to the Camp Director.
- If inappropriate behavior continues, as a final action step the camper may be dismissed from camp.
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- Refusing to follow behavior guidelines or camp rules
- Using profanity, vulgarity or obscenity
- Stealing or damaging property (personal or camp property)
- Refusal to participate in activities or cooperate with staff
- Disrupting a program
- Endangering the health and safety of children and/or staff
- Teasing, making fun or bullying of other campers or staff
Camper fees are non-refundable if a camper is sent home for disciplinary reasons. Physical violence or bullying toward another camper or staff member will result in immediate dismissal from the camp program.

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind as you register for summer 2022!
- La Dee Da is offering multiple specialty camp themes this year. We are a Specialty Arts & Crafts day camp that offers both half day and full day camp options for children ages 4 and up. Campers MUST BE 5 years old on the first day they attend our full-day program. Each week is carefully designed to offer a new creative curriculum with specialty highlights and other fun activities. Different offerings per week make it fun to enroll for multiple camps through the summer without getting bored! Our camps are appropriate for children age 4 and up. However, there are a few camps are geared especially for our older campers Ages 9+.
- Camp Groups: Campers are broken into 3 different groups based on age and or development. Please see table above for reference.
- Camp Locations:
- Camps run for the entire summer (12 weeks) at our Sandy Springs Studio location. Certain camps are being offered twice over the summer, choose whichever options works best for your schedule.
- Space is Limited: We only take 45 campers per week.
- Registration Fee: There is a one-time $35 registration fee for the entire summer/household.

We have 3 age groups for our camps with limited spots available. We try to arrange age ranges that best support a curriculum and medium that is being taught. Our camp groups are run simultaneously but in separate groups/classrooms with dedicated instructors. Some camps and programs are taught in a Montessori-style with broader age-range groups, learning and sharing together creatively. Occasional age exceptions are made upon Parent Request. [i.e. placing siblings/friends together, or a slightly younger child in older group] PLEASE CALL FIRST! What To Bring:
Parents must provide a labeled non-perishable lunch, morning snack and water bottle (please remember La Dee Da is a peanut & nut free facility to ensure the safety of all our children). Afternoon snacks will be provided. Students should wear play clothes that may get dirty and stained along with closed toed shoes. Our goal is for children to have fun and feel free, to be creative, messy and worry-free. Please apply sun screen and bug spray daily. Mask policy will be determined closer to Summer.
Is this your first time at La Dee Da?
Please fill out an enrollment/registration form for each child visiting the studio. The registration form covers emergency contact information, a medical release, and a photo release. You only need to fill it out one time each calendar year and we will keep it on file.
Attendance & Cancellation
Although we are very flexible, we expect enrolled students to attend camp/classes on the day they register. We staff up and plan for projects based on enrolled students. We do not offer make-up days for absences. We do not refund tuition for absences. No show, no call, no communication equals no refunds or credits. We staff up and base our projects on enrollment. Due to current COVID precautions, our capacity has changed as well. Your enrollment confirms a spot for your child which means we might not have been able to take another camper. If any special circumstances need to be addressed with the director. We will issue you a camp credit that can be used towards any of our current programming as well as arts and crafts kits on the go! In this week-long process based art camp, children will be introduced to the adventures in collage making! We will work with colored tissue paper, newspaper, fabric and buttons, painted and torn paper and more to create unique assemblages that provide opportunities for open ended creativity! Using Eric Carle as inspiration, we will hone in on some essential fine motor skills like cutting and pasting. We will use natural materials to stamp and create patterns. Artists will go home with a portfolio of beautiful process based art that is uniquely their own.
Week 2: June 1 – 4*: Splish Splash, We’re Having a Blast (Suggested Age 3 -8) (CAMP FULL)
Campers are invited as we dive into the beautiful waters to cool off for the summer with our ocean and beach themed camp week. We’ll explore ocean themed sensory bins, create ooey gooey slime, leave our imprints on the sand, create beautiful necklaces from shells we collect on the beach, catch a mermaid or two and swim in the deepest ocean with dolphins and large jellyfish! This week our art will be cool and colorful depicting all the encounters from our deep sea treasure dive. Friday will be dress up day as we’re entertained by a real live mermaid!
Week 3A: June 7 – 11: J’adore Paris (Session 1) (Suggested Age 3 – 8) (CAMP FULL)
Nothing’s ever boring or blah, in the land of Ooh-La-La! Calling all Fancy Nancy lovers for a bit of sparkle and glitter and all things Paris! With tons of Parisian inspired arts and crafts, a demo with a pastry chef and even a lesson in etiquette and manners, this camp is sure to add some sparkle to your week. We’ll zip around on a vespa with Nancy as she shows us museums and other hot spots around her favorite Par-ee! So grab your beret and your bestie! Campers are invited to dress in tres magnifique and join us for a soiree on Friday!
Week 3B: June 7 – 11: Boho Chic Girl (The Ultimate Preteen Crafting Camp) (Ages 9+) (CAMP FULL)
This week is all about being a girl, celebrating the free spirit inside each of us, and DIY arts and crafts galore! Your tween will be guided through a variety of on trend craft projects and accessories she’ll love to show off! Week 4: June 14 – 18: American Girl Doll Pony Camp (Session 1) (Suggested Age 4 – 9) (CAMP FULL)
A girl, her love for her dolly and ponies!!! What could be better than a summer camp adventure as we craft and create during this brand new equestrian themed camp week! Join us as we get creative bringing all the fun and creativity you’re accustomed to at La Dee Da! Each day we will explore a different art medium, and create a beautiful piece of quality arts and crafts that will be professionally finished and ready to be show worthy! We’ll design our own “my doll and me” t-shirts, adopt a pony to take home, create lots of crafts and more! Friday will end with a real life pony ride of course! Campers are welcome to bring their dolls to camp. Any 18” doll will be OK.
Week 5: June 21 – 25: Clay Lab for Kids (Suggested Age 4 – 10) (CAMP FULL)
Squishy, colorful, and infinitely shapeable, clay is one of the most versatile andtherapeuticart materials for kids. In this fun and creative camp week, childrenwill build on sensory development, motor skills, self esteem, and self expression, problem solving skills, discipline, and pride. We will be working with no-kiln air dry clay, polymer clay (sculpey) and salt dough to create many pieces including our own sushi, hamburger, coil and pinch pots, jewelry, succulents, animals and more!
Week 6: June 28 – July 2: Art of Nature (Suggested Age 3 – 8) (CAMP FULL)
This week we’re going to embrace the outdoors and everything nature has to offer! Don’t forget to bring your best campfire stories and songs! We will be exploring our beautiful and vast national parks and create nature based art. Between out of the box techniques of painting with sticks, creating nature inspired leaf and floral mandalas, printing with leaves, creating pinecone critters, our hands are sure to get dirty! We will learn about camping outdoors and producing artwork as if they were sleeping under the stars! We will have fun activities that will create an atmosphere of real life camping while catching fireflies!
Week 7A: July 5 – 9: STEAM Challenge & Tinker Lab (Suggested Age 4 – 10)(CAMP FULL!)
Science is Real!!! Calling all curious minds to come tinker and create with us during our weeklong Summer STEAM Club. This specialty camp aims to SPARK excitement with SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART & MORE in a setting that invites campers to explore, create, question, and experiment with fascinating facts, projects and activities. Through discovery based learning, students will carry out experiments, create kaleidoscopes, experiment with sunprints, learn about sounds, create tin can telephones, engage in lego robotics, build and program artbots, create gigantic bubbles, artistic masterpieces, and see how art and science work together in the real world.
Week 7B: July 5 – 9: Dollhouse Designers (Suggested Age 4 – 10)

Dollhouses are probably one of the most essential, open ended, imaginative toys any child could play with. What if your child could build, design, and play with their very own custom dollhouse? This summer at La Dee Da, they can! Using problem solving skills, imagination and creativity, each camper will be guided to think like an architect, builder, designer, and artist! Campers will receive a beautiful large wooden dollhouse at the beginning of the week. We will then spend each day painting, decorating, printing wallpaper, weaving carpets, learning to create tassels and pompoms, design furniture, and more!

Week 8: July 12 – 16: Wizarding and Magic Camp (Suggested Age 6 – 10) (CAMP FULL)
Prepare for a magical adventure you will never forget as campers are guided on a spellbinding journey! Join us as we explore the magical world. Receive your school uniform, get sorted, and begin your magical education. Make your own magic wand, duel with your fellow wizards, study magical subjects, play wizard games, care for live creatures, compete for the Wizarding Cup and more! This immersive week-long camp will allow children to spend their summer attending a magical school and learning the mystical arts.
Week 9A: July 19 – 23: Minecraft and Woodworking Camp (Suggested Age 5 and up) (CAMP FULL)
Take a break with some creative screen free time while engaging in your favorite video game themed camp! Join us at La Dee Da this summer as we design our own biome, battle with camo marshmallow shooters, troubleshoot and create our own marble maze and engage in lego robotic builds. We’ll even get to design our own creeper t-shirts, paint a diamond sword and polish our fine motor skills by using a hammer and nails to build bookends for our room! The fun continues in the afternoon as campers enjoy making pixel keychains and playing outdoor games. Your child will be so engaged the entire week they will not miss screen time. So grab a buddy and let’s have a creeping great time!
Week 9B: July 19 – 23: Where Unicorns, Rainbows and Fairies Are Born (Suggested Age 3 – 9) (CAMP FULL)
Join us at La Dee Da for a sparkling week of arts & crafts fun from far away lands. A truly spectacular week where magical unicorns, hidden forests, rainbows, fairies and globs of sparkle make childhood fantasies become reality! This camp is all about exploring the world of imagination and creating unique accessories and wearable art that show off your inner magic. Older campers will be introduced to hand sewing and nail art. We’ll make tons of fun art for our rooms, tiny fairy doors in shadow boxes, headbands and jewelry, along with unicorn poop slime!
Week 10A: July 26 – 30: Tackling Textiles Fiber Arts (Min Age 10)(CAMP FULL)
Our big kid favorite camp is back for yet another summer with a brand new curriculum! In this week-long camp,children will get a chance to dip their hands into the world of fiber arts and what it has to offer.Fiber Arts is just that…art created with fibers of all kinds. We will explore many fiber techniques like creating pom pom and tassel jewelry, beginning embroidery, and learning to hand sew stuffies. We will also investigate textile techniques such as batik, marbling on beautiful silk scarves, block printing to create our own unique prints and shibori tie dyed pillows.

Does your child have a passion for animals? This week we will be taking a closer look at some of the most fascinating creatures that live amongst us. We’ll be working with pottery, acrylic canvas painting, board art with mosaics, and other fun mixed media while we learn about the food chain and creating beautiful art!We will learn techniques for drawing, painting and making animals out of clay. We will end the week with our favorite in-studio reptile show case!
Week 11B: Aug 2 – 6: J’Adore Paris (Session 2) (Suggested Age 3 – 8) (CAMP FULL)
It’s OK, if you missed the first session, we’re bringing this camp back for another round! Nothing’s ever boring or blah, in the land of Ooh-La-La! Calling all Fancy Nancy lovers for a bit of sparkle and glitter and all things Paris! With tons of Parisian inspired arts and crafts, a demo with a pastry chef and even a lesson in etiquette and manners, this camp is sure to add a sparkle to your week. We’ll zip around on a vespa with Nancy as she shows us museums and other hot spots around her favorite Par-ee! So grab your beret and your bestie! Campers are invited to dress in tres magnifique and join us for a soiree on Friday!
Week 12: Aug 9 – 13: Adventure You Say? Alpaca My Bags! (Suggested Age 3 – 9)
While we might not have collected any new stamps on our passport lately, there’s nothing to say we can’t experience different cultures through art, books, music and some creativity! Our young travelers are invited to join us for the week as we hop on the double decker and whizz past the busy streets of London riding along the Thames and the Royal Horseguards while enjoying a tea at Trafalgar Square! Then we’ll go on a caravan through the vast African Sahara desert, as we stargaze and spot wildlife. Our adventures continue to the colorful and beautiful country of India as we learn about it’s rich traditions and culture.
Week 13: Aug 16 – 20: Dot to Dot (Preschoolers; Ages 3 – 6)
In this fun and colorful camp week, young artists will be guided through an explosion of color as we create lots of fun art made simply by using dots. Taking inspiration from Peter Reylond’s book The Dot and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, campers will hop through a creative journey unlike any other. Let’s make a mark and see where it takes you! Can you think of what you can make with a dot?

Week 1: May 23 – 27: Down on the Farm (Ages 3+ MUST be potty trained)
Let’s start the summer with the cutest camp of the season geared especially towards our toddlers and rising kindergartners. In this week-long craft camp, we will be focusing on life around the farm. Each day will feature different animals in our arts & craft projects. We will create with paint, clay, mixed media, drawing and more. We will be using paint, paper, glue, and more to create some fun farm creations. Friday will end with an in-studio petting zoo visit with lots of cuddly friendly farm friends to brush and pet.
Week 2: May 31 – June 3*: Sweets & Treats (Session 1) (Ages 4+)
Sugar Sugar, Ah, honey, honey! Got a sweet tooth? Calling all sugar lovers to come get your fill of everything sweet this summer at La Dee Da! Campers will construct gumdrop structures, giant paper mache ice cream cones, milkshakes with sprinkles, candy necklaces and lots of other delicious looking crafty treats. Let’s get ready to have some candy fun. The week will end with a cold treat and an ice cream truck visit!
Week 3: June 6 – 10: Splatter & Slime (Session 1) (Ages 4+)
Let’s get ready to paint, splatter, slime and glow! This week is all about self expression, exploring your inner artist and not having any inhibition! This highly immersive art camp experience is truly one-of-a-kind. Your campers will come home with stories to share of their most creative art creations. Campers are invited to spend the week creating lots of different kinds of ooey gooey slime, while unleashing their inner Jackson Pollock and creating one-of-a-kind splatter art, trying their hand at spin art, making wearable tie dye and even designing glow in the dark outfits for our Friday Neon GLOW party!
Week 4: June 14 – 17: Pamper Me Perfect (Session 1) (Ages 4+)
The ultimate girl camp of the summer! Grab your bestie and your dolly and head to La Dee Da as we prepare to get pampered and glammed all week. We’ll spend our time creating sugar scrubs, bath salts, making candles, lip balms and more. Campers will also enjoy crafting jewelry, making tote bags and cosmetic pouches! We’ll even make eye masks and accessories for our dolls. So grab your bestie and let’s SPA!
Week 5: June 20 – 24: My Summer Clayground (Ages 5+)
Our top favorite camp of each summer! Squishy, colorful, and infinitely shapeable, clay is one of the most versatile and therapeuticart materials for kids. In this fun and creative camp week, children will build on sensory development, motor skills, self esteem, and self expression, problem solving skills, discipline, and pride. Week 6: June 27 – July 1: Born to Rock! (Ages 4+)
Does your camper love arts & crafts, music and fashion? Are they constantly jamming to the latest pop hits on the radio? Imagine crafting your very own miniature rock stage, creating wearable art and spending the week alongside other fun loving creative friends giggling and laughing all the way. We will design band T-shirts, special backstage VIP passes, even our own microphones! So move on over Swifty, we’re jamming our way to the end as we finish off the week with an epic not to be missed Karaoke Party!
Week 7: July 5 – 8: Mario Mashup! (Ages 5+)
Calling all gamers to put their devices down for the week and join us at La Dee Da as we draw, paint, and create all things Super Mario. Throughout the week we will have adventures as we travel through different worlds from Mushroom Kingdom and beyond, encountering Piranha Plants, Goombas, Chain Chompers, creating Boo ghost lamps and the one and only Bowser! Campers will go on a Yoshi egg hunt, compete in a Mario coin jump, make sky Jello and end the week with a fun cake walk!
Week 8A: July 11 – 15: Textile & Fashion Camp: (Ages 10+)
This camp is intended for our older campers. Campers will spend the week exploring a variety of fiber art techniques. These will include machine and hand sewing, embroidery, creating our own fabrics to design a complete ensemble which will include a hand dyed or block printed circle skirt and screen printed t-shirt along with handmade jewelry. The week will end in a fashion showcase as campers show off their creations. Campers will gain improved dexterity from the focus and calm achieved by working with textiles. Ages 10+

Are you prepared to embark on the greatest adventure ever seen in a galaxy long and far away? Prepare to immerse yourself in a week-long Star Wars inspired STEAM camp, that is simply out-of-this-world! We’ll spend the week crafting Baby Yoda out of paper mache, designing our own Death Star, creating Space Slime and lots more themed arts & crafts! We’ll end the week with a dress up party as we hone our force skills with lightsaber training. So are you ready to start the adventure of a lifetime and join us in this Cosmic Camp?
Week 9B: July 18 – 22: Tween No Drama Boho Llama (Ages 8+)
This tween ultra cool and colorful bohemian inspired Llama camp will set your campers in a crafting frenzy! We will spend our time learning how to make fuzzy yarn pom poms, vibrant tassels, clay cactus pots, a mini fabric tent and a fun Llama ofcourse! We will build our very own llama scene inside a magical greenhouse complete with fairy lights. We will try our hand at macrame and will even learn to hand-sew their own Llama stuffie.
Week 10A: July 25 – 29: Theme Park Adventures (Ages 7+)
Our best STEAM Camp to date! This week we get to use our engineering, math and art skills and become imagineers as we get to design our very own mini theme park! We’ll get to construct our own mini roller coasters, merry go round and other rides that spin, sway, loop, pull, bounce, and twirl! Campers will get to hone in their creativity and critical thinking skills as they get to name their park, create a theme, decide prices and budget and plan out concessions. We’ll end the week with a showcase.

We will even get to build our very own erupting volcanoes! Friday will end in island games, dress up day and a Moana visit.

June 7 – 11: Resin & Paint Pour Workshop (Ages 10+) (FULL)
This fun and interactive afternoon workshop has been designed especially for our older campers who are interested in more specialized art techniques. Campers will be introduced to epoxy resins and the basics of creating resin art. We will also spend a portion of the week experimenting with acrylic pours. Have you ever wanted to try Acrylic pouring but just don’t know where to start? Our hands-on workshop will take you on a fun journey of learning and creating your own unique pieces of art. So grab a friend and get ready to have some fun!
June 14 – 18: Sew Much Fun! Beginner Sewing (Age 8+)
This wonderful, positive, social, fun, and creative workshop is designed to introduce children to the basics of hand sewing. We’ll learn to place patterns and cut fabric. We’ll also learn some basic hand stitches like running stitch, back stitch and the whip stitch. Children will enjoy making cute stuffies and we might even get on the sewing machine for a larger project! This is a beginner level class. No experience necessary.
June 21 – 25: Beginner Mosaics (Ages 10+)
Improve fine motor skills and try a new exciting art form! Explore the ancient art of mosaics in our fun and educational one-week mosaic workshop. After the ceremonial initial “Plate Smashing”, students will be introduced to many neat mosaic supplies like tile, ceramics, glass, mirror, shells and pottery to work with. Your child is sure to have a great time creating beautiful pieces you’ll both treasure and love.
July 26 – 30: Jewelry Making Workshop (Ages 10+)
This art jewelry workshop is designed especially for tweens and teens ages 10 and up. We will be introduced to working with polymer clay along with some basic wiring techniques and clasps. Campers will be introduced to jewelry making tools and materials. Class will focus on learning wire forming, making beads, stamping, texturing, and more! And best of all, you get to bring all your bling home!

COVID 19 UPDATE:
We will monitor all developments concerning the operation of SUMMER CAMP 2021. As we approach the summer months, we will continue to follow guidelines set forth by the CDC and our local health departments. Currently ALL campers and staff are required to wear a mask. We also will take temperatures daily and any camper with a fever of 100 degrees or over will not be permitted inside our studio. Camp will be available beginning the Week of May 24th (with Monday, May 31st being closed for memorial day). You are welcome to register below.
We are fully relying on the guidelines set forth by the CDC, Bright From The Start and our local health departments to guide us through all health and safety decision concerning the operation of our summer camp program. Cancelation for Summer 2021: We are a small family owned community art studio. This past year has been challenging and we have done our very best to pivot our business. We appreciate the support our community has shown us as we navigated unprecedented times. We are unable to provide any refunds for cancelled camps after our normal cancellation policy listed below. Please make sure you read carefully and understand that there are no full refunds being issued after April 1, 2021. However, we do acknowledge individual situations and the uncertainity of our times. This needs to be determined on a case by case basis and a partial or full credit may be issued at the discretion of studio director after April 1, 2021. Please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a credit issue and to redeem on any programming.
Summer 2021 Registration Policies
A one time $30 registration fee per child, not to exceed $60 per family is required at signup. All prices include Friday weekly pizza, camp t-shirt and all art supplies. Registration fee will be waived if signing up for 3 or more camp weeks for the same child. Please call studio for discount before signing up.
The entire balance of camp fees is due no later than April 30, 2020 to secure discount pricing. Registrations occurring after April 30th must be paid in full at time of purchase.
Changing Weeks
Registration fee allows for a one-time date change prior to April 30, 2020. Changes after this date will incur a $15 per child/week fee. All changes are based on camp availability and must be approved by the camp director. We request that families notify us of date changes as soon as possible as space is limited and sessions fill up quickly.
Refund & Cancellation Policy:
La Dee Da will honor cancellation deposit refund requests as follows:
- In accepting your camp registration, La Dee Da reserves a place for your child and hires staff according to registrations and deposits paid. Therefore, no refunds or credits will be given after May 1, 2021.
- Any cancellation requests made before April 1, 2021 will receive a full refund minus registration fees and deposits. Cancellation requests made between April 1, 2021 and May 1, 2021 will receive a 50% refund minus registration fees and any deposits. La Dee Da is unable to provide refunds or credits after May 1, 2021 due to limited enrollment and expenses incurred. We understand situations arise and plans can change! La Dee Da will allow you to give your spot (less registration fee) to a friend or family member but will be unable to assist in finding replacement campers for your child’s spot. Please provide notifications of enrollment changes including the name and age of the new camper via email to [email protected]. We do not provide refunds for absences, late arrivals, or early withdrawals of campers.
- No deposits/tuition will be refunded on or after May 1st, 2021, but is available to be transferred based on availability without additional charges.
- If illness causes your child to miss 3 or more consecutive days in one week of camp, you can submit a doctor’s note as proof of illness and therefore be eligible to receive a partial credit on your account for that specific week (minus registration fees and deposits).
- The refund & cancellation policy also applies towards fees paid for early and post camp care.
- Campers under the age of 5 are not eligible for our full day camp program.
Behavior Guidelines:
Please read our behavior policy with your camper before camp.
We expect campers to act respectfully at all times when they are on our property or participating in our programs. Campers are to behave in a mature, responsible way and respect the rights and dignity of others and all La Dee Da property.
Actions will reflect the Four Core Values:
- Campers take Responsibility for their actions.
- Campers Respect themselves, each other, camp equipment and the environment.
- Honesty will be the basis for all relationships and interactions.
- Campers will be Caring in their relationships with others.
Campers should talk to a counselor or any camp staff member if they are uncomfortable with any experiences or need assistance while at camp.
Discipline Procedures:
When a camper does not follow the behavior guidelines, we will take the following action steps as behavior problems progress.
- Staff will redirect the camper to more appropriate behavior.
- If inappropriate behavior continues, the camper will be reminded of behavior guidelines and camp rules, and the camper will be asked to decide on action steps to correct his/her behavior.
- If a child’s behavior still does not meet expectations and is affecting the experience of other campers, he/she will be referred to the Camp Director.
- If inappropriate behavior continues, as a final action step the camper may be dismissed from camp.
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- Refusing to follow behavior guidelines or camp rules
- Using profanity, vulgarity or obscenity
- Stealing or damaging property (personal or camp property)
- Refusal to participate in activities or cooperate with staff
- Disrupting a program
- Endangering the health and safety of children and/or staff
- Teasing, making fun or bullying of other campers or staff
Camper fees are non-refundable if a camper is sent home for disciplinary reasons. Physical violence or bullying toward another camper or staff member will result in immediate dismissal from the camp program.

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind as you register for summer 2020!
- La Dee Da is offering multiple specialty camp themes this year. We are a Specialty Arts day camp that offers both half day and full day camp options for children ages 3 and up. Campers MUST BE 5 years old on the first day they attend our full-day program. Each week is carefully designed to offer a new creative curriculum with specialty highlights and other fun activities. Different offerings per week make it fun to enroll for multiple camps through the summer without getting bored! Our camps are appropriate for children age 3 and up. However, there are a few camps are geared especially for our older campers Ages 7+.
- Camp Groups: Campers are broken into 3 different groups based on age and or development. Please see table above for reference.
- Camp Locations:
- Camps run for the entire summer (13 weeks) at our Sandy Springs Studio location. Certain camps are being offered twice over the summer, choose whichever options works best for your schedule.
- Space is Limited: We only take 45 campers per week.
- Registration Fee: There is a one-time $30 registration fee for the entire summer/child, not to exceed $60 per family.
- Payment Options: If you would like to spread out your camp payments, please contact Camp Director Sugandha Rosenhaft to make arrangements. The entire balance of camp fees is due no later than April 30, 2020. We must have a valid credit card on file for all installment payments. Registrations occurring after April 30th must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
